Mary Lake Sanctuary
We enjoyed a morning 'spirit walks' guided tour of the beautiful Mary Lake Sanctuary, a 67 acre protected forest and riparian area with 7 different ecosystems, that supports biodiversity and wildlife habitat. This tranquil sanctuary is home to the Nature House, Mary Lake, beautiful forested landscapes with sections of creek alongside the trails, beaver and skunk cabbage wetlands, a dam, pond and fish ladder and much more.
