About this Workshop

The purpose of this workshop is to provide participants with tools to help them to better express themselves through their landscape photography.

About Michael Murchison

Originally from Saskatchewan, I started taking photography more seriously in 2015.  After a few years of experimenting with many styles and genres of photography, I settled in as primarily a landscape photographer and have been enjoying trying to express myself through the landscape ever since.  I moved to Vancouver Island in 2018 and now have the fortune of experiencing the beautiful and diverse landscape that the west coast has to offer.  My focus is to express what I see and feel in my images, often forgoing the classic compositions in favour of more intimate scenes.
