About This Workshop

This workshop will cover a variety of flower photography approaches and issues.  There will be segments on equipment, light, focusing issues and selective focus, and backgrounds.  We will also cover some creative types of flower photography such as camera motion (ICM), flowers on a light pad, flowers in ice, dead flowers, light painting, and reflections. Some of this will be like last year’s workshop, but there are some changes this year. I have found some brilliant photos that other people have taken to get you inspired.

This workshop was originally planned as an in-person workshop. It is now going to be done on Zoom.  I know that some of you were hoping for an in-person workshop to check out lenses and equipment but the projector at Camosun wasn’t showing the images well.  If people would like I could show lenses at a members’ night sometime  and/or go shooting with people.
