Workshop Overview

This presentation, open to photographers of all skill levels, will explore the genre of macro photography. No particular knowledge is required in advance, although a rudimentary understanding of aperture will be helpful. Join us to explore the basics of macro, techniques such as selective focus and focus stacking, and various options for gear. You might just discover a whole new world of inspiration.
 

About Judy Hancock Holland

Judy Hancock Holland is an award winning Canadian photographic artist based on Vancouver Island, BC. She first explored photography and darkroom work as an undergraduate student and returned to photography in earnest upon her retirement from the University of Alberta. A lifelong educator, she approaches photography from a contemplative and spiritual standpoint, and enjoys mentoring other photographers.
