CAPA Series of Four Photos Competition

Definition:

A series of photos is very simply a collection of images that are placed in a specific order to tell a progression of events, emotions, concepts or themes. The ensemble is expected to be larger than each part. Images can be color or black and white and each photo should complement each other. Subject matter is Open.

Please pay special attention to item 4 under Specifications:
According to the rules of this competition, it will be necessary to work with at least one more VCC member on your submission. We hope to receive multiple submissions from which to select our entries.

NOTE: Each partner in a pair can enter two of the four images. Images should be numbered from 1-4, and have a common name (title), as well as their own title.

Judging Criteria

Titles of the images should compliment or contribute to the vision or message being presented.

Half of the points will be on the technical, organizational and emotional components of the images. The other half of the marks will focus on how the four images work together as a 'unit' including their cohesiveness and relevance to each other. Judges will award their marks on the basis of key elements such as composition, technique and subject matter. However, judges will have a strong focus on the creative message, the quality of execution, innovation and the "wow" factor.
