Club Membership

HERE'S HOW TO JOIN

STEP ONE: CREATE A NEW USER ACCOUNT
Click here to 'Create New User Account and Request Membership'.

PLEASE NOTE: After you create your Account, you will be required to Login (see login button in top right-hand corner underneath the banner image).  You MUST be logged in prior to making payment. If you are taken to the Home page, click "Sign Me Up" again, to return to this page, to make your payment.                           

  • Enter your email address as your login name and use it subsequently as your login ID for this website.
  • An email address is required to join the Victoria Camera Club.
STEP TWO: LOGIN with your Username and Password
  
STEP THREE: PROCEED TO NEW MEMBER FEE PAYMENT

You will be offered three payment options: PayPal, E-transfer or Cheque. We recommend that you make this decision at this point in the Membership process. If you decide to pay by PayPal (most Members choose this option) you are advised to stay logged in and proceed to the PayPal payment page.

When you make your (PayPal) payment, you will be asked to indicate the competition level you should be entered into - Novice, Intermediate, or Advanced.  See the Competition Skill Level section here to help you determine your level.  [You can indicate on the PayPal payment line or inform the Membership Manager.]

  

NOTES RE: NEW MEMBER FEE PAYMENT

 After you complete the New User Registration you must pay your Membership Dues. Dues may be paid either:

  • on-line using your PayPal account or a Credit/Debit card (no PayPal account required) or by E-transfer to accounts@victoriacameraclub.ca
  • or by Cheque payable to the Victoria Camera Club and submitted either by mail (to Victoria Camera Club, PO Box 46035, RPO HILLSIDE, Victoria, BC, V8T 5G2) or directly at a club meeting.
APPROVAL

Membership approval is contingent on receipt of dues. PayPal payments will be processed quickly and you will receive payment confirmation.  If paying by cheque it could take a few days to confirm payment and grant access. You will also receive a website confirmation email once your application has been approved.  If you don't see your Membership Approval message please check your 'Junk Mail' folder on your email reader.

If you have not received membership approval right away (because you opted to pay by cheque at the club/by mail), contact the Membership Manager to follow up on your account request.  -- Please DO NOT create another membership request using a different email address.  Only one account per person is allowed --

Membership Dues

  Individual $100.00    Family $150.00   Student $50.00

 

   

Create an Account

If you do not have a Login Name, use the button below to create an account and request membership in this organization. If you already have a Visual Pursuits account for any other organization, login with your account and use the menu "My Account", "Organizations" to request membership in this organization. That page will also provide links to other organizations.

If you are judging competitions or registering for a public event, you do not need to request membership. If you have an existing account with any organization using the Visual Pursuits service, login to this website with that account. If you do not have an account and do not need membership, use the button below to create a Guest account.
