  • VCC COVID-19 PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT Members do not have to print off the participation agreement to bring with them. Group leaders will have one form to print and bring to the event with the participation statements printed on one page and the sign in sheet on the second page for members to sign before the event begins. EVENTS  

  • IN-PERSON WORKSHOPS AT MCTAVISH ART ACADEMY Leah Gray and Steve Smith will be offering in-person workshops at McTavish Art Academy beginning in January, 2022. An “Introduction to Photography” weekend workshop for beginners will be followed by a “Discover Light” workshop for Intermediate and Advanced photographers. MORE INFO. Steve Smith and Leah Gray are members of VCC, CAPA, PSA and FIAP (Leah).

  • SAFARI TO KENYA Accompany award-winning photographer Monica Reekie on an extraordinary and stunning journey in Kenya. Monica is a member of VCC and CAPA. As guests of three unique Conservancies, you will experience a perfect mix of exhilaration and calm relaxation, viewing wildlife in their natural element and meeting the local people who protect them. Dates: November 23- December 6, 2022. See ad on page 16 December Close-Up. You may speak with Monica at Peninsula Gallery in Sidney every Saturday to answer questions in person.   • SPECIAL 2-DAY EVENT WITH RICK HULBERT Victoria Camera Club is pleased to announce that Rick Hulbert will be presenting "Catching the Creative Spirit in Photography". This event takes place over March 11th and 12th, with a follow-up session on March 26th. Maximum number of attendees = 12.  NOTE: this is a members only event, so you must login to the website to view this event on the Calendar.

  • Preparations for the NORTH SHORE PHOTOGRAPHY CHALLENGE on March 5 are taking shape! The Challenge is now open for entries from INDIVIDUAL competitors. An individual photographer can submit up to three images to the the competition. The entry fee is $15; submission deadline is February 19, 2022. Details, entry forms and show tickets may be found at nsps.ca/2022-north-shore-challenge.
